Two figures linked to SRC and 1MDB, former Bank Negara Governor, Zeti Akhtar Aziz and Mohd Nazlan Ghazali need to be brought to Court regarding their involvement in high-profile scandals.
This is based on the reports published about these two figures in all the mainstream media and the investigations that have been carried out by the authorities.
In fact, former Attorney General Tommy Thomas himself admitted Zeti’s involvement in the 1MDB scandal when interviewed directly.
“Zeti and Mohamed were reportedly investigated by the MACC. According to Utusan Malaysia, the investigation was conducted under the MACC Act 2009 and the Anti-Money Laundering and Anti- Terrorism Financing Act 2001.”
The MACC has confirmed that the investigation against Zeti has been completed and has been referred to the Attorney General for further action, but so far, no prosecution has been carried out.
Mohd Nazlan Ghazali’s involvement in SRC was revealed by Raja Petra Kamarudin. He also attached Nazlan’s account number in the revelation but it was modified to protect Nazlan’s banking data.
“The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) submitted an investigation paper involving Court of Appeal Judge Datuk Mohd Nazlan Mohd Ghazali to the Attorney General’s Chambers on May 18 for further review and instructions.”
The Attorney General then surprised all parties when he stated that the investigation papers against Nazlan are not with him.
It is up to the reader to judge what happened in the case involving Zeti and Nazlan in the 1MDB and SRC scandals.
