Malaysians know how the Pakatan Harapan and Perikatan Nasional governments fail to take care of the country’s economy.

Ironically, Lim Kit Siang is shameless in saying that he is really afraid for the future of the country with the potential re-emergence of Datuk Seri Najib. He replied when asked why he was “too obsessed” with Datuk Seri Najib Razak.

“When I asked yesterday who will be appointed as the Umno prime minister after the 15th General Election, I was accused of being too obsessed with Najib Razak. I am not.” – Lim Kit Siang

With a record of economic failure under the PH and PN governments until Malaysia was made the butt of jokes by neighbouring countries, Lim Kit Siang is seen as very afraid that DS Najib will revive the country’s economy.

Kit Siang issued a statement saying that he was not obsessed with DS Najib but was worried about the future of the country. In particular, he said he was worried about the future of our country as we would continue to lose to Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea and Vietnam.

Based on the country’s growth rate, we know that Kit Siang is just “bullshit” and fooling Malaysians.

It is true that before DS Najib became PM in April 2009, Malaysia’s economic growth rate lagged behind these 4 countries.
(Our rates are lower than theirs when Mahathir became PM4)

That is why the government when DS Najib became PM launched the Economic Transformation Program (ETP) and the National Transformation Program (NTP) in 2010 with a clear vision, clear goals and clear actionable things to address this.

The data clearly shows that Malaysia’s growth rate is not far behind Vietnam’s growth rate when DS Najib became PM.

If our country’s growth rate is higher than those countries, this means we are on track to catch up and overtake them. On the other hand, we will lag even further if our rates are lower than theirs.

These are the foundations of economics and the foundations of mathematics.

And this is why it is important for Kit Siang to debate with DS Najib after GE14. At first, Kit Siang challenged DS Najib to debate. Then DS Najib accepted. But after DS Najib accepted the challenge, he dodged and withdrew by arguing that the debate could turn into a Malay vs Chinese conflict.

The reason for Kit Siang’s lack of ingenuity is a joke for Malaysians.

As DS Najib did not have the opportunity to debate with Lim Kit Siang, he was invited to refute the statements below.

  1. Najib has never been charged with stealing money. Charges are only under AMLA. For example, in the SRC case, he was charged with criminal breach of trust as DS Najib sat in a cabinet meeting in 2011 to approve RM4b bail for the SRC (DS Najib was not the one who presented or proposed it) where he allegedly received RM42 million four years later at the end 2014 and 2015 where the money was spent on charity and CSR.
That is why the judge said it was not DS Najib’s right to give the RM42 million as charity when he sentenced DS Najib.

That is why calling DS Najib a thief is inaccurate and wrong as he has never spent any of the disputed funds for himself, for his family or kept the money for himself.

This is not the same as the charges of Lim Kit Siang’s son being charged with criminal breach of trust, abuse of power, soliciting and accepting bribes and embezzlement of property – which basically means he is accused of stealing.

  1. The donation of RM2.6b was returned to the sender 4 months later – that is why DS Najib was charged 9 times for receiving the funds and charged 6 times under the AMLA for returning the funds to the sender.
  2. MACC and AmBank have confirmed to the court that DS Najib has received RM642 million from the bank account of the Ministry of Finance of Saudi Arabia – which was then spent all for charity and various programs and none for his own use although he was given the freedom to use the funds at will .
  3. Government debt has increased RM316b (46%) from RM687b in 2017 before GE14 to RM1.023 Trillion now – in a short period of 4 years.

When Lim Kit Siang’s son became Finance Minister for 22 months, direct debt increased by RM118.8 billion to RM823.8 billion by the end of March 2020 – of course, a much higher rate of increase than when DS Najib became PM.
Our national debt has increased very highly since GE14 as the budget deficit was reduced for 8 consecutive years when DS Najib became PM but was later raised again by Lim Kit Siang’s son.

  1. Petronas’ cash reserves increased from RM30b in 2008 before DS Najib became PM to RM176b in GE14.

The PH government then “robbed” Petronas by RM24b in 2018 and RM54b in 2019 – much higher than the RM16b dividend paid by Petronas in 2016 and 2017 under the BN government.

  1. Khazanah Nasional’s net assets increased from RM32b in 2008 before DS Najib became PM to RM116b in 2017 before GE14.

After GE14, Khazanah’s net assets fell by more than RM30b as the PH government continued to sell those assets.

  1. The Malaysian stock market was widely recognized as the longest ‘bull-run’ market in the world when DS Najib became PM and reached an all-time high of 1,896 points in April 2018 just before GE14.

The market then declined after GE14 and has now become one of the worst stock markets in the world for the past 4 years.

  1. When DS Najib first became PM in 2009, the Ringgit was RM3.73 to US$. It then strengthened to RM3 and then weakened to RM4.40 when Trump became president before recovering to RM3.83 just before GE14.

Since GE14, the Ringgit has weakened rapidly and has never recovered to RM3.80 to RM3.90 just before GE14. Today RM4.20

  1. If DS Najib is the mastermind of stealing 1MDB’s money, why did Goldman Sachs paid RM16.6b, AmBank paid RM2.83b, KPMG and Deloitte paid RM400 million each as a solution to the Malaysian government?

Do you mean that I “stole” but the other party paid for my theft?

Lim Kit Siang, please answer!!!
